SuperHealing Milk Shake Recipe:

2 cups of either whole or 2% milk either raw or pasteurized
1 whole egg or 1 egg yolk
2-6 tablespoons of sugar syrup

    I’ve been trying to get my mom convinced that raw eggs in a milkshake are not going to have salmonella, but she refuses to believe me. Is there some way I can prove it to her so she can also enjoy this easy, and tasty breakfast drink?

    • The best way to prove something is by talking the talk and walking the walk, and them it is always up to them to make their choice, i think is important to understand that everyone makes their decisions on their own time, but i totally dig your interest and who wouldn’t want to see their mom do better? with that said, i don’t recall where i read it , is been a long while ever since, there is the risk of salmonella contaminations of 1 in every 20.000 eggs (conventional eggs that is) and 1 in every 200.000 ( if the eggs are from pasture fed chickens). Often times cooking food at low temp is not enough to kill bacteria or viruses, so the best option to that problem is to have a strong intestinal track, good digestion and buy and prepare the healthiest and best quality that you can get your hands on.

    • We prefer using simple syrup because it pure clean source of sucrose, which is body’s preferred source of fuel. Many people are sensitive to anything else. Now, if you try using a honey and you get good results then by no means use it.

    • Awesome, some people will react badly to cocoa, it can be irritating to the gut. ( to me it is) but if you do ok, who am i to say otherwise! lol.
