Traditional Russian breakfast dish made mostly from cottage cheese and garnished with jam and sour cream. We added a little gluten free twist by using coconut flour instead of wheat flour. Aram and Ruben share their favorite food recipes.
Ingredients:
1/2 Lb cottage cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp white sugar
1/2 cup coconut flour
2 tbsp coconut oil
Garnish with jam and/or sour cream
Wow! This looks so yummy! I love coconut oil, but have never used (or seen) coconut flour. I’ll have to find some and try this!
Hilah, most health food stores will carry coconut flour, but remember… what’s true about cocktails is also true about coconut flour (as well as other flours in general) always in moderation
I am going to try this soon, it looks great. One question, can I use raw honey instead of the sugar? Thanks for your time, Kevin
